WWE Royal Rumble 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

6. Charlotte Flair Wins The Rumble (Again)

This isn't intended to be some hater's rant aimed at Charlotte. Honestly, it isn't. The dude writing this happens to be a big fan of Flair, but he realises that her winning the women's Rumble would be a wasted opportunity on WWE's behalf. There are so many others who deserve it more.

Charlotte is a current champion. She doesn't need to be outlasting 29 other women, and she has nothing to prove anyway. The Rumble's sole purpose is to prepare someone for a challenger slot at WrestleMania, which wouldn't happen if Flair stole headlines again to win the thing.

What is she gonna do in Texas? Wrestle herself?

Nah, someone like Bayley (if she's healthy) or maybe even Lita should get the nod. Putting Charlotte in the match is a fine enough idea, but she absolutely cannot leave St. Louis as a two-time Royal Rumble winner. That's the last thing the sagging SmackDown women's division needs.
