WWE Royal Rumble 2022: 10 Surprise Entrants We Could See

5. Veer Mahaan

This guy's been trying to come for so long he should probably seek medical assistance. Nonetheless, the Royal Rumble is a good place for Veer Mahaan to shoot back to prominence.

The former Indus Sher man's vignettes have been running for so long that they've become a meme to be parodied over and over after each new episode of Raw. Having aired almost nonstop since Veer was drafted to Raw in October, they don't appear to be heading anywhere. Mahaan, lime Emmalina before him, exists in an endless video loop. Here's hoping that for his sake, this repackaging goes better than Tenille Dashwood's.

Fightful Select reported in late December that not only was there "no rhyme or reason" in splitting Veer from Shanky and Jinder Mahal, WWE had "no significant creative plans" finalised for his debut. This doesn't bode well.

Still, the Rumble is the perfect place for WWE to introduce somebody without having to think about it, then inevitably forget about them immediately, dooming them to a Main Event future.

Sorry, Veer.
