WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
3. WWE Title: Brock Lesnar (c) Vs. Bobby Lashley
Result: Lashley pins Brock to win the title after Roman knocks Brock out with it (10:15).
Rating: After three thunderously mediocre matches in a row, this was at least a hard-hitting hoss fight as most were hoping for, rather than a speedy finisher spam squash match.
But any goodwill it mustered was basically thrown out the window with the atrocious, unimaginative ending.
We get a lame referee knockout spot and a cheap win for Lashley which entirely undermines both his title victory and general in-ring skill.
Considering this was a dream match for many fans, bungling it so unnecessarily in the final stretch was a real disappointment. The finish also clued everybody into who would be winning the men's Rumble later. At least it was short. 5/10
