WWE Royal Rumble 2023: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. Roman Reigns Retains

Does anybody really believe that Kevin Owens could win the Undisputed prize at the Rumble? If so, then they surely haven't been paying attention to WWE TV lately. KO, as good as he undoubtedly is, should be viewed as little more than a speed bump for the 'Tribal Chief' right now.

Roman Reigns winning is the only logical outcome.

Creative will throw in some teases here or there, of course. Kev will get a few near falls (Roman doesn't mind looking vulnerable or even weak when it suits the match), and Sami Zayn/The Usos/Paul Heyman/Solo Sikoa will get involved somehow throughout.

There's a reason this hasn't been given a 'Street Fight' or 'No DQ' stip though. WWE want to keep things simple so they can proceed with the real storytelling meat elsewhere in The Bloodline ranks. Like with Alexa Bliss embracing her darker edge earlier, that'd come after the match was all over with.
