Admittedly, this is wishful thinking.

There aren't too many positive signs suggesting a full-time in-ring comeback for ex-WWE Champ and New Day favourite Big E. He suffered a serious, potentially-career ending neck injury in March 2022, and he's barely been seen since. That's so depressing considering how entertaining and passionate E has always been.

It'd bring tears to a glass eye if the New Day man was able to work even a short sprint in the men's Rumble come 27 January. Tropicana Field would go absolutely bonkers if his name flashed up on the trons at the end of a countdown. Fans would be crying over this one, for erm...crying out loud (literally).

Who knows if E is even physically able to take bumps or deliver his 'Big Ending' finish before chucking a few folks over the top rope, but it'd be awesome to see. Keep the faith, peeps. Stranger things have certainly happened in Rumbles of yesteryear.
