WWE Royal Rumble 2024: 10 Things That Must Happen

Legends snagging a few Rumble spots is expected, and that's nothing new. Go back to 1997 and Terry Funk (RIP) was showcased as a cagey veteran who was only there for a one off. As always with Terry, that led to more, but fans weren't mad about it. Could something similar be in the pipeline for others in 2024?

Ken Shamrock is one name on the lips of many when guessing Rumble cameos. On the women's side, most predict that AJ Lee will also make her first WWE appearance since 2015 during that 30-strong match. Both of those comebacks sound like fun, and they'd both appeal to different generations of fans.

Shamrock hitting a few belly-to-belly suplexes and using his ankle lock would get a pop from the 'Attitude' crowd, and seeing AJ get closure on a WWE tenure that seemed cut short would be lovely too. Of course, Triple H would have the cameo of all cameos to come after that.
