WWE Royal Rumble 2025: Predicting All 30 Entrants
Guessing all 30 WWE stars entering the men's 2025 Royal Rumble match...including bonus surprises!
Royal Rumble is normally the time when casuals and lapsed fans aplenty hop back aboard the WWE bus, but all the buzz surrounding Raw's recent debut on Netflix may have jumpstarted that annual trend this time. Triple H and pals made a lot of noise about trading traditional TV for the world's biggest streaming service, and rightly so.
There's no rest to be had though - now, it's onto the Rumble (albeit with another Saturday Night's Main Event to come first) and then WrestleMania 41 pageantry. We might all be totally pooped by the time this is over! It's bloody great though. Everybody loves this time of year, and it's always some laugh to sit down with a bunch of mates to check out each 30-man special.
2025's Rumble will be no different.
John Cena, CM Punk, Jey Uso and LA Knight are the only four men officially confirmed at time of writing. Of course, that could well have changed by the time you read this. WWE will heap on loads more names in coming weeks via Netflix and socials. Don't expect them to lay out all 30 wrestlers in advance, right enough. Trips will know the benefit of a few surprises sprinkled in the mix that keep fans on their toes.
Besides, that's our job. This article guesses the entire lineup from #1-30 in order. It'll be interesting to see just how many ring true once the match starts on 1 February. This writer might even ask for some free 'Mania tickets if he manages to get absolutely everything bang on. Ahem.
Once more unto the breach!
1. Logan Paul
Celeb star Logan Paul was a mere spectator during Raw's debut on Netflix. He was camped out in the crowd and definitely didn't get his wish of a verbal spat with returning legend John Cena. It doesn't look like Logan will be ticking 'WrestleMania match vs. Cena' off his personal bucket list either, but that doesn't mean he can't trade blows with the retiring favourite at some point.
The Rumble would be perfect for that sort of thing.
LP coming out first makes a lot of sense. Firstly, he brings a ton of eyeballs with him. Second, he'd receive a hearty serving of serious boos from the live crowd in Indianapolis. Thirdly, seeing Logan put in some shift (perhaps the 'Iron Man' spot?) would help ingratiate him to those fans who somehow still sit on the fence when it comes to rating his pro wrestling skills.
2. John Cena
That means, you guessed it...one John Cena would be in the #2 spot and effectively have to go coast to coast if he wanted to punch his ticket to the main event of 'Mania for one more World Title reign before hanging up the garish t-shirts. Cena's promo on Raw tried to manipulate buzz by casting John as someone who doesn't think he has a 17th championship toast in him.
Rubbish - he's practically guaranteed to hoist a big shiny belt above his head one final time during this retirement run.
Putting Cena out second serves multiple masters. It shuts Logan Paul up for a while backstage (Triple H's ears must be sore) and enables John to take his fans on an emotional journey Shawn Michaels style. Can the crafty ol' veteran pull this off, or will his 'Mania dreams be left in tatters? That's some narrative hook for the early knockings of the men's Rumble.
