WWE Royal Rumble 2025: Predicting All 30 Entrants

5. The Miz

The Miz's comments on Raw ripped Cena's Rumble announcement and any fans who are thrilled to see the returning icon enter this year's 30-man match. That might let Miz sneak into the field of entrants himself, if only so he can eat some of John's signature moves. Time for the longtime heel to get one last Attitude Adjustment from his WrestleMania XXVII foe.

Miz also has something else lurking in the shadows: Uncle Howdy and The Wyatt Sicks. Karrion Kross is still stringing him along too, so you just know Howdy and gang will show up (even unofficially) to cause a little mayhem if there's a lull in the match. That might actually be the right way to oust Miz from the Rumble.

He'd only really be there so Cena can shut his big mouth anyway.

6. Shinsuke Nakamura

United States Champ and mysterious loner heel Shinsuke Nakamura is like a villainous version of Sting's iconic 'Crow' character in WCW. He doesn't make friends, doesn't do much talking (outside of vignettes, at least), and always knows how to make an impact. Sure, he'd only be there to make up the numbers at the Rumble, but that doesn't mean Shin can't have a little fun.

Many video game characters over the years have been based on pro wrestlers. Nakamura is a funky flip then - he's like something out of Mortal Kombat, and it's clear WWE's creative team is having a blast presenting him as such. Come 1 Feb, he'll surely get a solid 15-20 minute stretch during the early-to-middle portion of the match.

Why not? The writers can even drop hints on his next US Title challenger if they like.
