WWE’s Vince McMahon Movie Script Review - 10 Things You Need To Know About Pandemonium

8. Linda's Role

Of all Pandemonium's characters, Linda McMahon's portrayal might be the most inaccurate. Linda and Vince's roles are almost flipped, with Linda more focused on WWE's creative process and marketing, and Vince concentrating on the business side. This the complete opposite of how things were in reality, with Linda leaning heavily on her paralegal background in an executive role for the company.

The script changes Linda's backstory entirely. Instead of covering her time spent working in various legal offices in Washington DC, Linda is a strip club bartender when Vince meets her. There's a scene inside the club in which Linda tells Vince she's pregnant with Shane, and Vince decides that no mother of his child should be working in such an environment. They leave, and Vince gets into an argument with Linda's boss, who tries to stop Linda walking out on her shift. Vince and the manager end up brawling in an alley, with Vince rendering him unconscious with a Sleeper Hold, which apparently turns Linda on.

Mrs. McMahon is over-sexualised throughout, though given her current position on Donald Trump's presidential cabinet, there's little chance of this content making it through the next rewrite.
