WWE: Scott Hall - 5 Awesome Matches And 5 That Sucked

1. Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels - Ladder Match (Wrestlemania X/SummerSlam 1995)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClzKiEZXFcE In today's wrestling climate, ladder matches occur so frequently that they no longer seem special. You have ladder matches on the undercard and ladder matches with nothing on the line just for the sake of using ladders. There's even an entire pay-per-view event built around the theme. But in 1994 Scott Hall and Shawn Michaels raised the bar for wrestlers and audiences. For a newer fan who has seen the TLC classics filled with carnage put on by the Hardyz, Dudleyz and Edge & Christian they may not be able to grasp just what made these matches so special. But for the time, they were simply incredible. Both Hall and Michaels as well as numerous other wrestlers have gone on record as saying the two had much better ladder matches on non-televised house shows. If that's the case, footage of something like that would be a huge addition to the new WWE Network. The Wrestlemania X match was voted Match of the Year in numerous outlets as well as being the first WWF match to ever be rated 5 stars by Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer (and still one of only 5 to ever receive the top rating). It's undoubtedly the in-ring pinnacle of Scott Hall's career.
