WWE: Scott Hall's 10 Greatest Career Moments

9. A Lethal Dose Of Poison

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7YI7ySPEb8 The February 17, 2002 No Way Out pay-per-view saw the introduction of the New World Order to WWE fans as Hall, joined by Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan, made his return to the company after a six-year absence. The group's debut in WWE was the brainchild of Vince McMahon, who had a mental breakdown and decided to kill his own company by "injecting it with a lethal dose of poison." What better way to accomplish that goal than by bringing in three men who many credit with the demise of World Championship Wrestling? The three former WWE stars spoke disingenuously to the crowd in Milwaukee, claiming to have changed their ways. Those words would be exposed as lies later in the evening, when they interrupted the WWE Championship match between Steve Austin and Chris Jericho, costing the Texas Rattlesnake the win and one last shot at championship glory. They spray painted Austin and were generally a thorn in his side, specifically Hall. At WrestleMania X-8, Hall would return to the Showcase of the Immortals to square off with Austin in singles competition. It would be a rough night for the former Intercontinental champion as he suffered two Stone Cold Stunners in defeat. After years of merely getting by with a guaranteed contract in his back pocket at WCW, Hall showed renewed drive and put in solid performances in everything he was part of during his return to WWE. Unfortunately, a relapse during a much-talked-about plane ride in May of 2002 led to his departure form the company.

He resides in Parts Unknown, where he hosts weekly cookouts with Kane, The Ultimate Warrior, Papa Shango and The Boogeyman. Be jealous.
