With WWE formally returning to the road in July, the company is looking to get its talent in as best condition as possible ahead of starting up its touring schedule once more.

As per PWInsider, yesterday’s Raw taping saw talent informed that they’ll be expected to head to the WWE Performance Center in the coming weeks in order to prepare themselves for the aforementioned return to the road.

This order is said to have come directly from the top – yes, as in Vince McMahon – and the plan is to have wrestlers partake in drills and matches designed to make sure that their in-ring work is a sharp as can be before July. These PC sessions could start as soon as next week, will be for all main roster talent and will take place on non-TV days, which would suggest Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Having reached out to certain WWE superstars, PWInsider also added how many are looking forward to heading to the Performance Center and that this is viewed as part of the process of getting back to “normal” after what has been an extremely abnormal last 15 months or more for WWE, the wrestling business and the world, period.

Starting with the 16 July episode of SmackDown - which is the go-home show for this year's Money in the Bank PPV - WWE will be formally back on the road for what is currently set as a 25-city touring schedule.
