In news that seems more fait accompli than an actual developing story, Jordynne Grace has signed with WWE.

Fightful Select reported on Monday that, as widely expected, the highly touted wrestler inked a multi-year deal with the sports entertainment juggernaut, having recently finished up her run with TNA earlier this month. Grace reportedly signed with WWE "almost immediately after her last match in TNA," which took place at last week's Genesis PPV, where she lost to a returning Tessa Blanchard. WWE locked Jordynne down quickly to prevent her from really reaching free agency, according to Fightful.

Given that her TNA contract had expired, Grace would be eligible to debut with WWE immediately, making her entry into the 2025 Royal Rumble as sure of a lock as possible. If she enters the match, it would mark Grace's second consecutive Royal Rumble appearance, having entered the 2024 women's Rumble match and having a memorable run that saw her last nearly 20 minutes before being eliminated by Bianca Belair.

Fightful noted that WWE had made their interest in Grace known, making an offer to her a couple of weeks before she finished with TNA.

Jordynne Grace Is Already A Familiar Face To WWE Fans

Jordynne Grace should not be unfamiliar to WWE fans. In addition to her Rumble appearance, Jordynne became one of the faces of the NXT/TNA crossovers that decorated the summer and fall of 2024, competing in NXT a handful of times, including defending the Knockouts Championship against Sol Ruca and falling short in a battle for the NXT Women's Championship against Roxanne Perez at Battleground. She last wrestled in NXT as part of a 10-woman tag match at NXT 2300.

Despite competing in NXT last year, WWE would be foolish to send Jordynne to developmental given her talent and presence. She would make an immediate impact on the main roster, bolstering a women's division that is in need of some fresh faces.
