6. Cena Burying Nakamura & Corbin

John Cena did everything he could to put Shinsuke Nakamura over strongly last week. Even Cena's staunchest critics can't deny that he endorsed Nakamura brilliantly. This week though, Cena sneakily said during his show-opening promo that he didn't understand why people had chanted for Shinsuke before now.

Then, when Baron Corbin came out to tell John to shut up, Cena called Mr. MITB "over rated". Exactly what was either statement supposed to achieve? In one fell swoop, Cena had questioned Nakamura's popularity and shut down Corbin's push. Further, he'd ruined any desire to see a match between both men at SummerSlam, and that was creaking to begin with.

Cena did eventually put over Nakamura, but not before nonsensically tearing down Corbin's credibility. This sort of thing shouldn't be happening; if Cena thinks Corbin is so over rated, then why would he then be excited when Daniel Bryan made a match pitting him against Baron at SummerSlam?
