6. JBL Roasting The Hart Family

As it wasn't enough that WWE's production team reminded everyone that Natalya had gone from Hart Dungeon trainee to reality television star, JBL weighed in from behind the announce desk. Trying to put over the storyline currently involving Nikki Bella, Natalya and Carmella, Layfield actually insulted the Hart family in the process.

David Otunga defended Natalya's innocence, saying it was more likely than Carmella had been the one to ambush Bella from behind at Survivor Series. That's when JBL jumped all over Otunga's words, outright saying that Natalya had "two things going against her". Namely, she's Canadian and she's part of the Hart family dynasty.

This felt rather odd, an unprovoked verbal attack on the Harts does little to put over the angle WWE are trying to sell with this one. JBL didn't really repeat what he had said and moved on quickly, meaning many would have missed the commentary line entirely.

Nikki Bella didn't really make any attempts to defend Natalya's family either, despite claiming the pair have been friends for 10 years.
