6. JBL Claiming Lana Doesn't Belong In The Ring

JBL often says things that seem counterproductive on commentary. This week was no exception, especially when Lana was in the ring. We know that the former valet doesn't have much in-ring experience, John, you don't need to spell that out by outright saying she barely belongs.

Isn't it WWE's job to convince fans that Lana is coming along as a wrestler and starting to match the likes of Charlotte and Becky Lynch? Not in JBL's world. After saying Lana shows "flashes of brilliance" from time to time, JBL then flatly pointed out that she often "shows she doesn't belong in there".

Wow. This was hardly constructive feedback from a guy who is supposed to make SmackDown's stars look good. Why is Lana even on the roster to begin with if she "doesn't belong in there"? Wouldn't it be better to put Asuka in her spot and give the former model some more time to train at the Performance Center?
