In fine fashion, both Carmella and Nikki Bella really sold their rivalry with just one in-ring promo segment. Whilst Carmella came across as someone who wanted to make her name at Nikki's expense, Bella was more assured of her place in the WWE system. That's exactly how things should be, the rookie looking to exploit the comparative veteran's fame.

Letting Carmella say her piece, Nikki shot back at her enemy with a fiery speech. There was the sense that Bella was speaking from the heart when she talked about her neck injury woes and the threat of retirement. From there, she even decided to mention the top women on Monday Night Raw.

Pointing to the 'Fearless' mantra emblazoned across her chest, Bella then said she wasn't afraid of anything. It was only then that she referenced both Sasha Banks and Charlotte by stating she wasn't scared of a "Boss or a Queen", so she certainly couldn't be frightened off by a "Princess" (referring to Carmella).

A wonderful speech, it's nonetheless interesting that Nikki Bella decided to talk about Raw's leading female lights.
