WWE SmackDown: 10 Things You Might Have Missed

2. John Cena Nearly Breaking His Neck

Ok, so you may have seen this one because WWE did replay it a few times afterwards. It's hard to tell whether this was intentional or not; on one hand, it did give Cena an excuse for losing after having his bell rung by Nakamura. On the other, it's pretty dangerous to drop someone on their head like that and mean it, even in controlled conditions.

Cena could easily have broken his neck during the bump off this back suplex. The risk did pay off, but let's hope WWE don't make a habit of writing reckless spots like this one regularly if it was planned. Just look at the angle Cena lands and try not to wince. He's lucky to escape from that move conscious.

A pivotal point in the main event for sure, this set up for the Kinshasa nicely. Again, maybe that was the purpose of using such a nasty-looking bump, but coincidence or not both men got away with it. Still, all that weight coming down on the back of his head had to hurt Cena's neck.
