6. Rey Mysterio

When Rey Mysterio made his WWE debut, he had already had a legendary career in WCW, but the blue brand ended up adding a whole new chapter to it. When he arrived on SmackDown in 2002, the brand extension was already in full swing and he wasted no time in making an impression on the WWE Universe.

Mysterio quickly rose to the top, becoming one of SmackDown's most popular wrestlers as he became a multi-time tag team champion with the likes of RVD, Eddie Guerrero and Batista. However, in 2006, he won the Royal Rumble match before going on to WrestleMania 22 and winning the World Heavyweight Championship — solidifying him as a main event player.

Though he would be drafted back and forth throughout his later years in the company, there's no denying that Mysterio's biggest career moments took place on SmackDown. Thus, he should make his presence felt on the upcoming 1000th episode, and considering he recently made a surprise appearance in this year's Royal Rumble, a return for 'Mr. 619' isn't all that unlikely.
