WWE SmackDown 1000: 10 Superstars Who Must Return
4. Triple H
Like his Attitude Era peers, Triple H was a part of SmackDown from the beginning, and featured in the main event of the pilot episode. The Game was a regular part of the show for the following few years and, given that he had multiple WWE Championship reigns in the early-2000s, he was often featured in the main event segments.
It's true that when the brand split came into effect, he spent the vast majority of his remaining full-time years on Raw. However, he was drafted to SmackDown in 2008 and became WWE Champion, before he took the title back to Raw in 2009. His current role as WWE's Chief Operating Officer allows him to sporadically appear on both brands, though it seems Raw will always be his priority.
Though he'll always be associated with the red brand, many of Hunter's classic rivalries with The Rock, Stone Cold and The Undertaker spilled over into SmackDown. Undoubtedly one of the all-time greats, not to mention one of WWE's chief authority figures, it would be a missed opportunity not to have The King of Kings guest-star on SmackDown one more time.
