WWE Smackdown Review: 5 Things We Learned (May 31st)

3. El Torito's Tail Can Grow Back

In yet another installment of WWE's comedy feud we saw Jinder Mahal defeated by El Torito in a match that officially gives the bull a victory over every member of 3MB, and that included Hornswoggle. Torito was wearing the same outfit from Raw with the tail still missing and the stub that was left being taped up like an injured body part would be. This means that WWE is trying to make us believe that he can grow his tail back since Hornswoggle ripping it off left nothing on the backside of Torito's outfit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNT75GzZSuw Michael Cole and JBL even had a short exchange talking about this. Cole made a comment about it beginning to grow back and JBL responded with "Like a salamander?" While this match and everything about it was less than spectacular, the fact that WWE insists on making it seem like the tail was real is just plain insulting to the intelligence of even the youngest WWE fan. I am not even sure a toddler would believe that the tail was real, but you have to give the guy playing El Torito credit. He seems to put all his effort into selling whatever it is he is told to do. It's just a shame that two talented wrestlers like Primo and Epico have had to sit on the sidelines during most of this feud while their mascot gets all the attention.
