WWE Split Up Karrion Kross & Scarlett Because...

Here's why Karrion Kross debuted without Scarlett on last night's WWE Raw.

Splitting up Karrion Kross and Scarlett on WWE television was Vince McMahon's decision, reports Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer states that Scarlett was "absolutely 100% taken away" from Kross, likely out of the belief that for whatever reason, Kross would be a better act without her.

Kross debuted without his valet on last night's episode of Raw, having been paired with her for the entirety of his WWE run to date. This didn't go well for him. The NXT Champion jobbed out to Jeff Hardy in under two minutes, taking his first pinfall loss since debuting for the company in April 2020.

Scarlett tweeted the following after the Hardy match, despite not appearing alongside Kross:-

Both performers have undergone multiple main roster tryouts over the past few weeks. Scarlett wasn't paired with Karrion for these, having worked her own individual tryouts, and was particularly conspicuous by her absence when Kross cut a sad figure upon debuting on Main Event in June.

There is currently no word on WWE's plans for Scarlett. Her tweet suggests she may yet be paired with Kross on the main roster, despite the big man going it alone last night.
