WWE Star Wants HUGE Rematch With Roman Reigns

It could be a matter of time before WWE rebooks this bumper Roman Reigns feud.

Finn Bálor wants to revisit his "open-ended" feud with top star Roman Reigns.

The WWE man told Josh Martinez on YouTube that he's aware how much "water cooler talk" there's been since that controversial finish at Extreme Rules 2021. A little over one full year on from that, Finn fancies stepping back inside the ring with Reigns to see what they can achieve together without the 'Demon' gimmick backdrop.

Bálor revealed that WWE had something else in mind for his character last year before Brock Lesnar's return at SummerSlam - he didn't, however, go into details on exactly what that "something else" was. It's highly unlikely that Finn's 'Demon' was supposed to beat Roman though.

The Judgment Day leader believes fan chatter necessitates another match with Reigns. He reckons it'd be fun to attack it from a heel vs. heel perspective in late-2022 or early-2023. That's something WWE's creative team might think about, but they'd probably prefer babyface vs. heel more than anything.

Recent reports did speculate that Bálor is heading for a mega-push soon. He'll wrestle Edge in an "I Quit" bout on this weekend's Extreme Rules show.
