WWE Started It WCW Finished It - 10 Feuds That Switched Companies

10. Jeff Jarrett vs. Scott Hall

Scott Hall was one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, intercontinental champion in WWE history. He won the belt a then-record, four times, and would have memorable feuds with Shawn Michaels, Diesel, IRS and Goldust. Another interesting rivalry for Hall was against Jeff Jarret who had entered the federation in 1993 after being the main star of his father€™s promotion, the USWA. The two men would engage in a high profile feud over the Intercontinental championship that saw them have marquee matches at both the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania in €™95. Both men did well in the rivalry setting the stage for greater things later in their respective careers. WCW would not renew the feud in the long, draw-out way the WWE did had in the past over the IC Title. Yet, there some similarities when the two clashed years later for that promotion. WCW would have the two superstars spar over their version of the intercontinental championship, the United States title. These familiar foes with have various matches again each other but were often joined in three or four way matches along with Bret Hart,Booker T and Sid.There were so many wrestlers and storylines bursting at the seams in WCW which usually resulted shoehorning multiple angles in overcrowded matches instead of doing each one justice separately. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9jw0o_scott-hall-vs-jeff-jarrett_sport Jarret and Hall€™s matches were a far cry from their WWE days but the blame probably doesn€™t isn't simply on WCW booking. Hall was battling various alcohol and drug problems which were resulting in frequent sabbaticals, missed shows and sloppy in-ring work. Jarret was actually at the early stages of the biggest push in his career and would go on to capture WCW€™s world title in the upcoming years. This wouldn€™t be the last time both men would meet in the ring (Hall had even worse run in Jarrett€™s TNA organization a decade later) but were the last genuinely significant matches they would have against each other.
