WWE Stomping Grounds: 10 Things That Must Happen
3. Seth Rollins Finds A Way To Retain
That's not to say that Brocky boy and Baron should be successful in their attempts to prize that belt away from Rollins' grasp. In fact, they shouldn't. Seth should overcome the odds like this is Over The Edge 1998 and he's a sweaty Steve Austin making Vince McMahon, Dude Love and cronies look like the jealous jerks they are.
A Stone Cold style win for the ages makes the most sense here. We'd even advocate Lesnar getting knocked out like McMahon was in '98 and Seth counting the match-winning pin using his hand. Got you, guys. The workhorse champ of his generation pulled a fast one on those trying to pull a fast one on him.
Why not? Rollins vs. Corbin is hardly going to be a show-stealing match, and it could do worse than relying on story to help it putt-putt along.
Then, perhaps we can move on from the unwanted Corbin push towards Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules. Actually, WWE are gonna' squeeze another brawl out of Baron and Seth, aren't they? Oh well, so long as Rollins holds onto that title for the foreseeable future.
