8. Alexa Gets Cross-ed
When Bayley was buried a day after losing her tag titles at WrestleMania in a strangely un-competitive squash at the hands of Sunday's opponent, it seemed like she'd be joining her deposed tag partner Sasha Banks in making social media overtures towards Tony Khan and co.
Fast-forward to Money in the Bank, and suddenly Sasha's flounce had became a blessing in disguise for The Hugger, as she won and cashed in the eponymous briefcase. Bayley's now positioned as a single's competitor more strongly on the main roster than at pretty much any point in her run, and though this feud is a repeat of one of the dirt worst in recent memory, it's thus far being a billion times better (faint praise).
Alexa's had a stranglehold on WWE championships over the last few years, and nobody is aching to see her take Bayley's this Sunday. And she won't - no thanks to Nikki Cross.
Prediction: So long as Nikki Cross is bumbling ineffectually in 'favour' of Alexa Bliss, the challenger's doomed. They'll fall out tonight, as Bayley retains.
