Ok so just hear me out on this one. Becky Lynch needs to move on from Lacey Evans immediately. Becky Lynch is also having to do weird backstage segments with IRL boyfriend Seth Rollins. Shayne Baszler has no obvious opponent for her next single's feud in NXT, and arguably should have moved up months ago. What you have here, is a perfect storm.

The premise goes thusly. Baszler is unveiled as the special guest referee for the Universal title match and directly costs Seth Rollins the belt in some capacity. Now that can either be directly with Corbin or afterwards with Brock but, either way, Becky Lynch attempts to make the save and ends up brawling with the NXT Women's Champion.

Now that last element - her current title - does feel like it might invalidate this from the get go, but WWE have extensive previous in this matter. Kevin Owens and Paige both competed on the main roster while holding NXT titles, and Owens even contested the title at TakeOver before working Summerslam the very next night. Aleister Black and Ricochet doing double duty this WrestleMania weekend as well.

It's one of the more 'out-there' rumours we've heard over the years, but it would make for great booking.
