WWE SummerSlam: 10 Awesome Moments

10. Stephen Amell's Surprising Performance

It was far from a technical masterclass, but Stephen Amell's in-ring performance at SummerSlam was surprisingly good. Teaming with the high-flying Neville, the actor looked in good physical shape. A lifelong fan of the industry, Amell didn't disgrace himself, despite being a non-wrestler. A lot of fans had been frosty towards the star of 'Arrow' facing off against Stardust. Thankfully, the Canadian put in quite the shift, and looked reliable any time he was called upon during the match. His team-mate did most of the work, as expected, but Amell looked solid when up against both Stardust ad 'King' Barrett. Of course, the now-cliched announcer hyperbole was out in force. When the actor executed a basic hiptoss, Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler just about had a coronary. That's be to be expected however, and it was refreshing to see a non-wrestler spend so much time in the ring. Even better, it was Neville who was allowed the deciding pin, keeping things credible.
