WWE Summerslam: 10 Things We Want to See

Feel free to share your own as we strap in and inch closer toward the Biggest Party of the Summer!

10. A Lively Crowd

This should go without saying, and truthfully, were Summerslam being held in any other part of the country, it wouldn€™t need to be part of the list;.I€™ve always found that half of WWE€™s battle in putting on a successful and memorable Pay-Per-View is having a loud and rambunctious crowd that is willing to buy into the stories and become lost in the atmosphere. Unfortunately, Los Angeles crowds tend to do the exact opposite. They struggle with chants and they load their excitement into competitor€™s entrances and not much more. The energy of a crowd can carry a show both ways. A live and energetic audience can make a decent show seem pretty darn good, but a crowd that sits on its hands can make a good or decent show come off pretty uneventful. The ball is in your court, L.A., try not to drop it.

09. An Intercontinental Championship Match

The lore of the mid-card title is a lost art in the WWE. Despite holding on the Championship for a significant length of time, little attention was ever given to Cody Rhodes during his impressive reign. The same can be said for Christian, who took the title off of Rhodes at the beginning of the summer. My hope is that The Miz will brain rain to the drought. Filming The Marine 3 was a fantastic transition for the fledgling €œmust-see€ superstar, who returned at Money in the Bank with a slightly modified look, and a largely modified attitude. The Miz could do wonders for the Intercontinental Championship if WWE gives him the chance. Both The Miz, and the title he wears deserve a match at the Biggest Party of the Summer. Perhaps the right opponent is Christian, Cody Rhodes, Tyson Kidd, a host of other capable superstars, or a combination of several. One thing is for certain - it€™s time to start spotlighting this once illustrious title again.
