08. No Disqualifications for Brock Lesnar and Triple H
Once again, the focus of WWEs monthly Pay-Per-View is not on the WWE Championship, but rather, a high profile grudge match between the companys (TV) Chief Operating Officer, and the brash, unapologetic Brock Lesnar. This battle is months in the making, and the confrontations leading up to Summerslam have suggested anything but a wrestling match. Make no mistake about it - this is meant to be a fight. A match of this caliber shouldnt be burdened by the threat of disqualification or count-out. When taking into account both Triple H and Brock Lesnars most suitable styles, youve got to wonder how these two can have anything less than a lightly-sanctioned brawl to the finish. This has got a big fight feel to it, lets make sure its allowed to exist that way.
07. Appearances from Stephanie McMahon and Paul Heyman
This goes hand in hand with the no disqualification stipulation. Its no secret that Brock isnt a great talker, and having Paul Heyman serve as his mouthpiece for the last several months has been a huge blessing (not to mention its a great way to keep Brock involved without wasting contractually obligated appearances). Theres no reason not to keep Heyman in the mix at Summerslam. On the other side of things, Triple H certainly needs no help on the microphone, but having his real-life wife in his corner adds humility to his character and a depth that the cerebral assassin typically lacks. Not to mention, it could make for some pretty compelling and dangerous moments during the match. The groundwork was already laid during Raw 1000 (an encounter which proved to be one of the most memorable moments of a star-studded show), and while their involvement shouldnt overshadow the match itself, adding depth to the already existing layer could make Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar that much more memorable.
