And 5 Things That Sucked...
5. The Tag Title Match Had A Bad Finish
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xlmhrf_goldust-booker-t-vs-the-un-americans-tag-title-match-8-25-02_sport It's been a while since I've seen this match. It was so cheesy how many times they said the phrase "Unamericans" throughout the match. It was the team name, but it was really bad as a name. Then they were as announced as being "from Canada" without saying an actual city. It's a big place. Be specific! Calgary for Storm and Toronto for Christian would have been good enough. Then they came to the ring with the US flag upside down. The action in the match was really good. They followed the tag team formula with Goldust getting worked over, then Booker got the hot tag and looked like he was going to get the win. That's when it fell apart. There was a ref bump with Lance Storm hitting Nick Patrick. It seemed like Patrick was getting hit more than any ref in WWE. Booker had the match with the ref still out. In some matches you might see another ref come out. Not here. Test ran into the ring (he was an Unamerican too), hit Booker in the face with a boot and the ref counted the pin. He was right in front of the ref too. The finish was a bit underwhelming. Still a pretty good match, though. Like I said before, this is a strong show. There were not a lot of things that really sucked.
