WWE SummerSlam 2014: 8 Matches That Must Take Place

7. Divas Championship Elimination Match - Paige Vs. AJ Lee Vs. Natalya Vs. Charlotte

After watching NXT Takeover last week, my feeling is WWE has to reward Natalya and Charlotte in the near future because their match was arguably the best divas match that WWE has ever had. They went out there for nearly 20 minutes, had a competitive back and forth battle with some wonderful near finishes and then a decisive finish with Charlotte winning. It's time to give the divas a bigger spotlight especially on PPV. They only seem to get 6-10 minutes when they have divas matches on PPVs, but they deserve more. A match that they should consider would involve Paige as the reigning Divas champion, AJ Lee as the former champion that is still a heel, Natalya as a top contender and they could elevate Charlotte by putting her on the main roster. How many Divas Championship matches have there been that were under elimination rules? It doesn't happen too often. It would feel fresh. It would also feel like something better than what WWE usually does, which would be welcome by the WWE Universe that would appreciate a bigger role for the girls. If this match received 15 minutes it would be awesome. It would also elevate Paige as a fighting champion or they can put it on any of the other three girls because they are all worthy too.
