WWE SummerSlam 2014: 8 Matches That Must Take Place

2. Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose Vs. Seth Rollins & Randy Orton

When Rollins turned heel on Reigns at this past Monday's Raw, it made me think that they're going to build to the "dream" triple threat match of Reigns vs. Rollins vs. Ambrose at one of the next few PPVs. In this scenario, Ambrose is still buddies with Reigns and would align with him against the evil forces of Rollins and Orton. Can they wait to do this match? Not sure, but they should. The role of Ambrose by that point is unknown. He might go heel along with Rollins soon, but if he stays face as an ally of Reigns that's okay too. My gut feeling is that he's going to end up being a heel either at Money in the Bank or before it because WWE is going to want to put Reigns on his own. They could also make Ambrose turn heel during this SummerSlam match. It would be a bigger deal. It can start off as a competitive match with Orton and Rollins working as a great unit and then Ambrose could turn heel on Reigns. It would be a huge moment as Reigns falls victim to another friend turning on him. All of it can lead to a "Reigns against the world" kind of storyline that can keep him busy until the end of the year and then he can win the Royal Rumble in January.
