8. Dean Ambrose Vs Seth Rollins In A Lumberjack Match
Ambrose vs Rollins has been one of the best built feuds of the last few months. Credit should go to Ambrose, whose promos have really pushed the interest into overdrive. In addition, Rollins breathtaking ring style sells itself. As such, this is a match fans can't wait to see. Unfortunately, WWE creative let the pair down somewhat. The lumberjack gimmick is lame. What should have been a wild brawl has been constrained to what will be a clustered jobber scene. This type of booking gets lots of wrestlers on the show, but it also dilutes the attention on the ring. All those men at ringside will hurt this match. On the optimistic side, it could still be fairly good. When you've got workers like Ambrose and Rollins, you're probably going to get some modicum of athletic entertainment. It makes sense that Ambrose will turn out winner. He's the man who needs it more. Rollins has the Money In The Bank and a clearly defined heel future. Ambrose in contrast is the awkward third member of The Shield breakup. Whereas Reigns and Rollins have trajectory, Ambrose needs one. A win at SummerSlam can give him that bit of momentum toward bigger things. Expect it to be under ten minutes, the lumberjacks throwing Rollins back into the ring time and time again, until Ambrose finally puts him away for the pin. Winner: Dean Ambrose
