Opening the actual pay-per-view portion of SummerSlam, Enzo Amore and Big Cass went head-to-head with the relatively new team of Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. There's a comedic quality to both tandems, but they checked funny at the door once the bell sounded to start their match. That was never more apparent than during the ending.

Big Cass was taken out of the picture by KO, who hit a cannonball on the big man as he lay prone against the security barrier around ringside. That was enough to keep Cass out of the remainder of the bout, meaning Jeri-KO were free to pick clean the carcass of Enzo Amore.

The most excellent bump of the match was saved for last, and it looked like it could potentially have landed Amore with another concussion. Thrown high into the air by Owens, Enzo was then met on the way down by a Chris Jericho Codebreaker. The move didn't land flush, but that actually helped it look more brutal.

In terms of timing, things were a little off, but it looked superb anyway.
