It's been rumored that many of NXT's stars will get called up to the main roster when the brands are split, and no one seems more likely than American Alpha (well, except for Finn Balor, but we'll get to him). The team lost the NXT Tag Team Titles before their reign even had a chance to get started, indicating that they're not long for the brand.

They'll debut on Smackdown and immediately come face to face with Chris Jericho, who will tell the newcomers that if they want to make it in WWE, they should follow his example. He'll present them with the gift of Jericho (drink it in, man), but when they politely rebuff him, they'll have made a powerful enemy - or two powerful enemies, once Jericho recruits fellow Smackdown star Kevin Owens to help him send the newbies packing.

The match will be what you'd expect - two of the most talented and experienced men in WWE working with the hottest up-and-coming team in the sport. They'll isolate Chad Gable, but he'll make the hot tag to Jason Jordan, who'll take both men out with suplexes. Finally, AA will nail Jericho with the Grand Amplitude, starting them out with a big victory and making "Canadian Omega" eat humble pie.
