WWE SummerSlam 2016: 10 Matches That Must Happen

5. Randy Orton Vs. Sami Zayn

The last time WWE fans saw Randy Orton (which was almost nine months ago at this point), he was a babyface and he was very, very stale. When Orton makes his return (which is expected to happen soon), it should be as a heel, which will no doubt make "The Viper" quite happy.

Heel Orton has always been a conniving bully, and there's no more supportable victim on the roster than Sami Zayn. The two men would have a natural chemistry, and starting the program would be simple - after Zayn is victorious on Raw, Orton (who wouldn't be selected in the draft) can simply run in for his return and drop him with an RKO. Zayn, of course, won't let him get away with that, and there's the program.

Orton and Zayn shouldn't have a problem putting on a classic at SummerSlam, with "The Viper" laying a beating on the former NXT Champion, but Zayn refusing to stay down. Zayn would make his comeback and hit the Blue Thunder Bomb, but ultimately, Orton - in his first major match back from surgery - would pick up the win. There will be rematches, though, and Zayn will get his chance to avenge his loss.

Oh, and is it too much to ask for a through-the-turnbuckles diving Tornado DDT countered into an RKO on the outside for the finish?
