If most wrestling fans choose to be honest, they'll admit to believing there was no way Sasha Banks was leaving this year's SummerSlam without the WWE Women's Title. Even before she won the belt on July 25, 'The Boss' was a shoe-in to defeat Charlotte and depart with the strap.

Therefore, the fact that didn't happen will come as a major surprise to some. WWE pay-per-views always have shocks peppered throughout them, but few can accurately claim they saw this one coming. Charlotte, by virtue of escaping the Bank Statement and locking on a pinning combination, is now a two-time Women's Champion on the main roster.

What this means for the rivalry between Charlotte and Sasha is anyone's guess, things are very much up in the air following SummerSlam. As the losing champ, Banks will probably get a quick fire rematch against the newly-crowned titleholder, a match that will likely occur on Raw.

Only those with a crystal ball could have predicted a Charlotte triumph, and it'll be interesting to see where the tale goes next.
