WWE SummerSlam 2018: 10 Most Likely Outcomes
3. Dean Ambrose Turns Heel
Dean Ambrose made his long-awaited return on Raw this week to back up his friend and partner Seth Rollins. However, while it was undoubtedly a great moment, it would have likely garnered an even greater response if it had been left until SummerSlam. The fact that WWE didn’t wait until this Sunday to pull the trigger on his return suggests that they are planning something even bigger for the marquee event.
With his new jacked physique and shorter hair, Ambrose looks less like the cartoonish 'Lunatic Fringe' from last year and more like a barbaric hard-man. This Dean doesn't play sidekick to anyone, so we should be prepared for him to finally make his long-anticipated heel turn at The Biggest Party Of The Summer. Turning on Seth Rollins would make the moment all the more powerful, given the pair's history together, and it would be the perfect way for Seth to lose the Intercontinental Championship match without taking another clean loss.
Ambrose has the potential to be one of the greatest heels in recent memory if his turn is executed right. A violent, vicious Ambrose would certainly gel well with his new look, and it would allow WWE to delete the memory of his corny Lunatic Fringe gimmick from our minds and finally portray him as the true unhinged lunatic he could be.
