WWE SummerSlam 2018: Every Competitor's Current SummerSlam Record
9. Daniel Bryan: 3-2
Daniel Bryan was the talking point of the entire SummerSlam event in 2010, returning to the company as a surprise member of Team WWE to take on his former teammates of the Nexus in the 14 Man elimination match.
Within 30 seconds Bryan had made an impact, forcing Darren Young to submit for the first elimination. Then just seconds after eliminating Heath Slater later in the match, the former Nexus member was attacked by The Miz and his Money in the Bank briefcase to be pinned by Wade Barrett. Though he did get eliminated, John Cena scored the win for all of Team WWE, including Bryan.
In 2011, Bryan was pinned by Barrett at SummerSlam for the second time in two years. Another twelve months later, before Team Hell No graced the WWE, Bryan faced Kane and scored a victory by way of roll up pinfall.
Daniel's two most recent SummerSlam matches came in 2013, though only one was scheduled before hand. The crowd favourite bested John Cena for the WWE Championship in the main event with Triple H as guest referee. During his celebrations among fireworks and confetti, Mr Money in the Bank Randy Orton's music hit, and after The Game turned heel and nailed the champion with a Pedigree, The Viper simply hooked Bryan's leg, resulting in the latter's title reign ending far too early.
