WWE SummerSlam 2018: Every Competitor's Current SummerSlam Record

3. Finn Bálor: 2-0

When Finn Bálor takes on Baron Corbin in 2018, it will be the first time the Irishman appears at SummerSlam without his demon alter-ago. Last year The Demon King faced Bray Wyatt in a battle of the creepiest superstars on the roster today.

The former did his Bálor Club proud on the night, seemingly getting in the head of Bray Wyatt, earning himself a victory after just ten minutes of action. Finn's SummerSlam debut however, was far more important, and far more impressive.

After Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley announced the brand new Universal Championship, Finn Bálor won a Fatal Four Way match against Cesaro, Kevin Owens, and Rusev, and a one on one with Roman Reigns to earn himself a match against Rollins at SummerSlam for the new belt.

Though Seth put up a good fight, as Bray Wyatt would learn a year later, there are very few that can match The Demon King. Bálor hit his signature Coup de Grace and pinned Rollins to become the first ever Universal Champion. This feat is even more impressive when you consider this was the Irishman's first ever WWE pay per view appearance. It is such a terrible shame for the Irishman that he had to vacate the title the very next night on Raw due to injury.
