WWE SummerSlam 2019: 10 Matches That Must Happen
7. Samoa Joe vs. Aleister Black
This one writes itself, and it was tempting to attach that graphic, write "Samoa Joe vs. Aleister Black" and leave it at that.
Black's current role on TV has him begging weekly for a fight. The heavily-inked, undoubtedly-satanic master of strikes is crying out for somebody to step up and give him some competition. Recently, he even literally opened the door and shouted out of it into the hallway hoping for somebody to wander by and offer a challenge.
One thing Samoa Joe has consistently shown since he landed on the main roster is that physical competition (and the pursuit of it) is law. An alpha male if there ever was one, Joe's character lives by the law of the jungle and would salivate at the prospect of locking horns with Black on such a grand stage as SummerSlam.
Despite being heel, Joe isn't quite as cowardly as some of his cohorts. He'd be willing to put the United States Title on the line against Aleister, and that'd give Black a nice upper mid card feud after he inevitably pastes some "local competitors" on television.
