WWE SummerSlam 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Kevin Owens Wins Against All Odds

Worries have cooled over the past month or so that WWE might dreadfully misread their audience and book a Shane McMahon World Title push. Granted, Shane-O does get heat, and he is one of the better heels on the roster today. Still, he's not up to par as a worker, and shouldn't be wrestling with the kind of frequency he does in 2019.

If he wins at SummerSlam, the sound of foreheads being palmed may register on Richter scales worldwide.

This situation is prime and ready for Kevin Owens to snap back at Shane's authority, steal back some of the power and throw his antagonistic sh*thousery back in the 'Boy Wonder's' face. Expect interference from Elias, some more from Drew McIntyre, and maybe even more from The Revival. All have been McMahon allies recently, but they have to fail.

Any good heel needs a lesson every now and then, and Shane needs another to follow that 'No Holds Barred' beating from Roman Reigns and The Undertaker at Extreme Rules. Unless WWE and KO plan to have him dash off on his hols with Finn Bálor, then Owens simply must defy the odds and stick around.
