If anyone needs further evidence of how thrown-together this WWE Title match is, then they need only cast a glance at the latest SmackDown. There, on the go-home episode before SummerSlam, Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton didn't appear in person. Instead, they traded comments via a pre-taped video package.

Hmm.

This is less 'KofiMania' and more 'B' level pay-per-view build. That should fire both men up; if WWE's writers aren't willing to make the match must see, then Kofi and Randy have to take matters into their own hands, dip into the past and give long time fans a treat. That's right, Kingston has to crash Orton through a table (probably the announce one this time) like he did back at Madison Square Garden in 2009.

Throw in some "Stupid" banter from Randy and you'd have a blast from the past worth savouring. Quite why Orton hasn't been booked to persistently sneak attack Kofi and force the New Day leader into calling for a Street Fight is anyone's guess. Fingers crossed they've got a point to prove on Sunday.
