WWE SummerSlam 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen

9. Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Bálor Doesn't Happen

Is it actually necessary for Finn Bálor to eat a squash match loss at SummerSlam? He's galavanting off on a much needed break after this, sure, but that doesn't mean he has to be totally crushed on his way out the door. There are aways around it, and it's not like fans are pinning their hopes on this as a must-see battle.

Besides, two squashes on one pay-per-view is overkill, and there's another elsewhere (more on that later).

Instead of needlessly slaughtering Bálor, who remains popular with the fans despite his auxiliary status these days, Wyatt could interrupt his entrance with the same power-breaking menace he's shown recently. All WWE really need is to show off that mask again, swirl some lights around as the horror noises play and have Bray drop Finn with the Mandible Claw.

He can always pop up again later in the show, and it'd be wise to keep his first big return match back for something more special than this throwaway card filler. That gives the illusion that Bálor is still important before his holiday and doesn't hurt Wyatt. Win-win.
