WWE SummerSlam 2019: 7 Most Likely Outcomes

6. Shane McMahon's Reign Of Terror Will FINALLY Come To An End

Shane McMahon's 'Best In The World' stint grew stale within a few weeks and, in typical WWE fashion, the creative team thought "hey, why not drag it out for another few months?".

From consistently burying The Miz (in what started off as a great rivalry) to getting between Roman Reigns' feud with Drew McIntyre (and turning McIntyre into a lackey in the process), Shane O' Mac has received more TV time in 2019 than anyone ever knew possible - or even wanted. That said, this push has become slightly more bearable ever since the writers have acknowledged how the fans feel about it - as the fact that he drew the ire of superstars likes of Kevin Owens and The Undertaker suggested that the end was nigh.

Now that 'The Deadman' has dealt his infuriating ascension a deathly blow, we should all be prepared to see Owens put an end to it once and for all - and that is something that needs to take place on a huge stage. As SummerSlam is as big as WWE is going to get (until next year's WrestleMania), it's highly likely that it will happen there.

In addition, Owens' career is on the line while McMahon's isn't and, unless WWE is planning on undoing all of the hard work they've done in recent weeks to expose Shane (though that's entirely possible considering it's WWE we're talking about here), it would be ridiculous to have Mr. McMahon Jr. bury another young talent. No, it's finally time for 'The Best In The World' to be humbled - and Owens is the perfect choice to do it.
