WWE SummerSlam 2019: 7 Most Likely Outcomes

5. The Demon Won't Show

Two years ago, Finn Balor brought out his demonic alter-ego to defeat Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam. Yeah, that ain't happening again.

Balor is once again on the wrong side of one of his old foe's rampages, as Bray Wyatt, who now calls himself 'The Fiend', targeted him upon his return and has since run roughshod over unsuspecting legends on Monday Night Raw. Though he will seek vengeance in the form of a match at SummerSlam, we shouldn't expect to see him channel 'The Demon'.

This is WWE's chance to finally make Wyatt the star that he should have been years ago so, all being well, they'll be careful not to mess it up. That means that the only way this can end is with him disposing of Balor in convincing fashion. Now, considering that Michael Cole continually likes to remind us of the fact that 'The Demon' is supposedly undefeated in WWE, there isn't a chance that he's showing up to face Wyatt - simply because he'd lose.

It's a real shame because 'The Fiend' vs. 'The Demon' is something that the WWE Universe would undoubtedly love to see, and given the gravity of this feud, it makes complete sense. After all, if you were being haunted by a dark and demented supernatural creature, wouldn't your best shot of defeating it be to unleash your own?

Unfortunately, resurrecting 'The Demon' now just doesn't fit WWE's current narrative and, as they've shown us many times before, normal Finn is expendable. With that in mind, don't expect to see his dark side reveal itself.
