WWE SummerSlam 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen
4. WWE Use The Amway Center's Scale
It was oddly fresh to watch WWE move into the Performance Center post-COVID outbreak and try to make the best of a bad situation. Since then though, it's become abundantly clear that they've exhausted the facility's possibilities and don't really have any ideas to make programming look interesting.
At SummerSlam, the company will have a bigger venue to work with. Orlando's Amway Center will feel like AT&T Stadium in Dallas next to the restrictive PC, and WWE will hopefully come up with ways to creatively use every square inch. Why not? they've got the run of the place, and it's not like there are thousands upon thousands of fans to think about.
Matches like Sonya Deville vs. Mandy Rose or Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins could easily end up in the bleachers. Or, failing that, WWE could set up a unique promo area in the stands that isn't as lifeless as the usual backdrops backstage.
They've got options, and should use them.
