WWE SummerSlam 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. The 'Fiend' Becomes Universal Champion

Braun Strowman's Universal Title run has been a miserable time for everyone.

His win over Goldberg at WrestleMania was sudden, his natural feud with Bray Wyatt has dragged and become more ridiculous the longer it's gone on, and his mini-issue with The Miz and John Morrison was one of the worst things WWE has done on television all year.

The time has come to give Wyatt's 'Fiend' another whirl. No, that character doesn't need the belt (and never has), but anything has to be better than seeing Braun react to practical jokes or carry around the title like a toy he just bought from WWE Shop. It's damning that this Universal Title reign is as uninteresting as his IC one earlier in the year.

If nothing else, Bray can spin off into a feud against somebody new. Meanwhile, Strowman can continue turning back towards his monstrous past and build up some street cred again. He doesn't have any of that right now. The experiment has failed.
