WWE SummerSlam 2020: 8 Results Predictions
2. Hit And Bliss From Braun
That the Universal Championship match has been converted into a Falls Count Anywhere contest on the eve of SummerSlam tells you all you need to know about WWE's confidence in these two men putting on a semi-decent wrestling match.
It was for the same reason the company, short-sightedly, bogged the world's slowest runaway train in a literal swamp for their last meeting, hoping cinema would compensate for his limitations (it didn't). Braun, essentially an unelected champ owing to Roman Reign's WrestleMania withdrawal, has not been a roaring success with the strap. The Fiend, for better or worse, is one of WWE's most marketable assets: losing the feud to a man who was never really part of the plans just doesn't make sense.
Particularly when the man who was part of the plans - and specifically, a plan to beat Bray - could be just around the corner.
Predictions: Bliss turns to p*ss as Braun succumbs to The Fiend's spell. And then... Roman Reigns?
